HöllvikenLargets town in Vellinge municipality is HÖLLVIKEN, dating from the Viking period, which with its strategic location, developed over the last 50 years from a popular seaside resort and mostly summer residents to all-year-round residents. On one side the Baltic Sea with a half-mile long white sandy beach with sand dunes, on the other a shallow beach to towards Öresund, which has become popular amoing surfers.

Today the 1600 meter long Falsterbo Canal with the openable Höllviksbron (Höllviken bridge) is a popular marina with excellent service and restaurant. A long white sandy beach at the Baltic Sea that is shallow making it extra child friendly. For those who want to jump straight into the ocean , there is also a bridge sponsored by the Vellinge residents since 2015. There are two kiosks at the beach.At one end of the more than kilometer long beach is the Kämpinge Water Ski Club and in the other end you find the Falsterbo channel. Although the official name is Foteviken's Museum, Foteviken Viking VIllage is so much more. Here you will find a unique Viking town, located on historic land, where there was a big battle in 1134 between Danish Vikings. Also one of Scandinavia's largest market places, Hallör, was here.
