Vellinge

Vellinge is the main town in Vellinge municipality, and has the largest concentration of business and industry. Development accelerated in the late 1800s when the Malmö - Trelleborg railway was opened. 1971 the railway was closed, but today the E6 / E22 highway is just outside which makes the connections with Malmö in the north and Trelleborg in the south excellent.
