Every year, this Viking village arranges a new Battle of Foteviken. The participants of the organized training camp gather on the beach where the great battle originally stood on June 4, 1134The published photographs shows nature, landscape and more from Vellinge municipality.Since 2010 the Falsterbo Bird Show is arranged annually.Vellinge offer five different golf courses which all are very popular. Three of them surrounded by grand nature.One of Sweden´s largets international sport events where Swedish and international rider elite compete in jumping and dressage.The oldest settlement in Skanör dates back to the 11th century. The history of charming Skanör stretches as far back as the 12th century and was during the medieval, together with Falsterbo, one of the largest cities in the Nordics.

Falsterbo Strandbad - an event building for body and soul

Welcome to Falsterbo Strandbad - an architectural gem embedded in the pine forest just a few steps from the beautiful Falsterbostrand. An event house with an Art Gallery, Naturum , Vellinge Tourist Center and Restaurant Strandbaden.



The Art Gallery, which is the Vellinge Art Hall, hosts exciting exhibitions all year round. In Naturum you get information about the nature and cultural history of the municipality of Vellinge. With the emphasis on birds and especially migratory birds, visitors can get an insight into the bird life that made the whole Falsterbo area widely known.



Here you will also find Vellinge Municipality's Tourist Centre. There you will get help finding what you are looking for whether it is an attraction, a lovely getaway or if your are wanting to buy exciting and unusual gifts.
Restaurant Strandbaden offers food and mind experiences beyond the usual and is also organic and near-produced. However, it's just as good if you only want to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. You can sit outside as well as inside, the choice is yours.

As the crown of this beautiful building boasts a unique view platform from which you can see the Baltic Sea, watch birds or just fill the lungs with nice and fresh sea air mixed with a scent of pine trees from the surrounding pine forest. Or why not end your visit with a nice walk along the beautiful Falsterbostrand.
